Recent Updates From E A
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
After 20 years in practice, I have seen the number of individuals, couples, and families seeking Transgender-supportive therapy grow so immensely that I determined to make this area of need my priority. With clients dealing with Trans* issues, I address concerns such as internalized and cultural Transphobia, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relational challenges. I provide narrative-based gender therapy for clients struggling with gender dysphoria. Clients seeking referrals for cross-sex hormone treatment and gender-confirming surgery are connected to medical colleagues of mine. I also assist with supportive networking and with navigation through the legal process of transition.
Because my private practice is only part-time and limited by my responsibilities as an agency Clinical Director, I am afraid I cannot accept clients with major mental health issues.
Also, it is easiest to reach me by email, as I cannot receive or return calls except during my lunch break (which is my main time for seeing my private clients). If you would like to schedule an appointment, I encourage you to email me in order to get the quickest response.
