Profile

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT/LCMFT) with over 20 years of experience working in mental health, hospital, long-term care, and school/special education settings, with all ages. I received a BA in Recreation Therapy; in 2004 I earned an MS degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Currently, I have a full-time private practice, offering sessions virtually to residents of VA/KS/WA state. I work with all ages and specialize in children, teens & young adults, as well as couple/parenting support.

Some of the areas of my special training are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), structural and strategic family therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

From 2004 to 2019, I worked in various roles at Inova Kellar Center (IKC), a non-profit, community-based outpatient facility in Northern Virginia that provides mental health and substance abuse services, as well as special education for children, adolescents, and families.

I enjoy providing clinical supervision to those working towards a LMFT or LPC in Virginia - sessions are offered virtually.
