After a year spent working full time at a Christian camp in East Texas,  Kim  then earned her master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Kim  has been at HeartLife for over 10 years and has experience specifically in the areas of trauma, OCD, parental divorce, co-parenting, behavioral issues/anger, body image, eating disorders, self-harm, life transitions, loss, anxiety, and depression.  Kim  has a cognitive behavioral orientation in her therapy while using a biblical framework and approach.
Kim believes that every person who comes for counseling is an individual, and she strives to understand individual needs by utilizing an array of art and play therapies when appropriate, including sand tray therapy.  Kim  is passionate about the mission to help people through life’s difficulties and challenges by embracing the One that can heal.
