Recent Updates From Sarah Farris
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

When anxiety becomes overwhelming, it can interfere with relationships, confidence, and the ability to focus or perform your best. I take a warm and enthusiastic approach in guiding the therapeutic process for adults living with OCD, Panic & Anxiety, Phobias, Illness Anxiety, and Sports Performance Anxiety, skin picking and hair pulling. I have over 10 years of experience working with athletes, university students, and working professionals to overcome obsessive worry and return to valued living. Breaking the avoidance, overthinking, checking, rumination and self-doubt cycle is possible.

I utilize evidence based interventions including Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD and Anxiety, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I incorporate Mindfulness based techniques, skill development, and at times a little humor to encourage and support clients to face their fears and build confidence.
I take a collaborative, goal-oriented, and non-judgmental approach to help clients cope with challenges and make meaningful adjustments. I take time to explore each individual's values to establish counseling goals. My hope is that each individual I work with feels understood in the therapeutic process and empowered to make important and impactful changes.
