Heidi Kinsella has been an active member of the recovery community for over 33 years. She has extensive expertise in the treatment of sexual addiction and was mentored by and worked alongside Dr. Patrick Carnes, the pioneer in sexual addiction research and treatment. Heidi recognizes the importance of having a therapist who understands the complexities of addiction. She has worked with many individuals who have suffered from the effects of substance abuse, sex addiction, and those who have been affected by a loved one's addiction. She offers five day intensive retreats and Equine Assisted Therapy at Fourth Dimension Healing Ranch.
Heidi creates a safe therapeutic environment for clients to become vulnerable and self-aware, fostering lasting change. She works collaboratively with clients to ensure they take an active role in their therapy. Her treatment orientation is integrative, where she uses a variety of techniques to help clients reach their goals.
Heidi provides individual, couples, group and telehealth treatment. She has advanced training and specific credentials to work with people suffering from sex addiction and substance abuse. Her expertise in addiction has allowed her to educate the public and clinicians on topics related to sex addiction, substance abuse, codependency and family dynamics.
