Recent Updates From Lisa Ruff
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

I love making therapy a positive experience that leaves clients feeling happy and excited to come back the next week. My practice is focused on therapy with kids, teens, adults, and families. I use play therapy, Theraplay(tm), and Whole Brain Child interventions to reach kids and teens. I enjoy working with adults on determining what career path to take, how to adjust to college/full time employment, mid-life career issues, and stress management/mindfulness skills. Issues from Anxiety, ASD, and Depression often pop up at this time of life. I am here to help them navigate!
Problem solving with parents is something that I do daily in my office. It can feel so overwhelming figuring out what the issue is with your child or teen. Is it an anxiety issue? Is it the way you're structuring things? Sorting this out and giving you specific strategies is what I do! You'll leave my office knowing how to handle sticky situations.
Helping parents of adults is another passion of mine. It can be hard to know how to transition your high schooler or young adult out of the house. I support parents in figuring out how to nurture independent living skills while setting healthy and loving boundaries. Additionally I teach individual and group parenting classes throughout the year.
