Profile

I am licensed psychologist with an interest and expertise in anxiety, depression and family/parenting stress. I also treat perinatal anxiety and mood disorders, including postpartum depression. I am particularly passionate about women's mental health across the lifespan, from teen to older adult.
In addition to coping with the typical stressors associated with parenthood, I also have expertise in helping parents of children with chronic medical illnesses, children with autism and children with mental health issues cope with their unique set of challenges.
My approach to treatment is collaborative and compassionate. While I have extensive training in evidence-based practice, I also believe in taking a personalized approach to meet the needs to each individual or family. I also have training in The Daring Way™ approach, based on the work of Brené Brown, focusing on vulnerability, courage, shame and worthiness.
