Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

Are you pregnant or gave birth within the past year? I specialize in working with adolescent and adult pregnant/postpartum women who experience a wide range of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). As a Clinical Social Worker and founder of Apparent Health & Wellness, LLC, I offer a holistic approach (Mind, Body and Spirit) towards each woman's unique journey into motherhood. With over 15 years of experience working with new mothers and families, I utilize a multi-modal, clinical approach to for treating PMADs, along with safe prenatal/postpartum exercise and mindfulness-based meditation.
As a mother, I now realize my own PMAD journey after delivering my first child. I can recall feeling isolated, unnoticed and afraid as I reluctantly put on my "Maternal Hat". Research shows that many women experience various types of PMADs, however the social stigma often undermines the benefits of maternal well-being. I'm a clinician and I am You.
It is important for women who experience PMADs to know that they are not alone and together we can foster a treatment alliance that is strength-based, holistic, and client-centered. At Apparent Health & Wellness, new mothers have a safe, supportive and nurturing space.
