Recent Updates From Steve Pavlovich
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

I am a retired high tech executive who has embarked on a career as a life coach specializing in addiction counseling. As a State-certified counselor, I’ve helped men from 20 to 60 years of age and from many backgrounds. However, having worked in the corporate world, I’m uniquely qualified to help people struggling with substance abuse in high pressure environments. Addiction is a secondary issue in my view. The problem is most people approach life in a reactive, rather than proactive mode. This usually results in sub-optimal outcomes. I will help you with personal and professional life planning to get your life on track.
I find cognitive behavioral approaches to be most effective in helping the client challenge his own thinking and decision-making. The first step is to review your life goals, determine what's important to you. Are your current activities helping you achieve these goals? Do you have a plan to achieve these goals or are you just "winging it?"
One of my focuses is on people that have returned to their careers after completing short-term recovery programs. This is a critical transition point. Your life will need to be redesigned to accommodate new goals. We'll put together a plan to rebuild your family, professional, and personal life. All in balance, so you won't return to old habits.
