Dr. Sarah DeMarco is a Licensed Psychologist in NJ and NY. Dr. DeMarco conducts forensic mental health assessments that address various psycholegal issues in criminal and civil matters, including but not limited to mental health defenses, competency to stand trial, violence and sexual violence risk (including SVP), juvenile risk/psychosexual, personal injury, and public safety employment. One of Dr. DeMarco's unique areas of expertise is mental health evaluations for Firearms Purchaser ID cards (FID/FPIC), carry (CCW) permits, and gun forfeiture situations ("red flag").
Dr. DeMarco has extensive experience in working with adults and adolescents in a variety of clinical-forensic and correctional settings, such as a forensic psychiatric hospital, state prisons, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment centers and a juvenile detention center.
