Contemplative psychotherapy enables introspective awareness of mental processes and behavior and is a necessary pre-requisite for effective self-regulation.
I see my role as a guide and facilitator to help you discover the resources within to become an active agent of your own healing and growth. You'll develop new awareness about the patterns in your life that no longer serve you and learn new skills to transform those patterns.
I integrate mindfulness—including compassion for self and others, and embodied methods like imagery, somatic experiencing and breathwork into novel contemplative therapies for healing trauma and treating a wide range of psychological ailments.
