I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate accumulating hours to secure my full professional counselor license. I am operating under the supervision of Dr. Fredrick Dombrowski, PhD, a licensed mental health professional. I have a background in family treatment, victim advocacy, and child protection as guardian ad litem. I provide therapeutic support to children, youth and families living with ADHD and similar diagnoses. Providing support and encouragement to families supports the strengthening of the family system. As such, my treatment approach is collaborative, client centered and empowering through skills development.
I assist children with managing difficult situations through the use of evidence based skills and navigating school difficulties. I help parents feel empowered by providing the tools they need to support their child’s progress, to maintain a loving connection to their child and to achieve a sense of balance and calm in the home.
I am committed to cultural humility, awareness and integration. My primary therapeutic techniques are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness practice and Life Space Interview, as well as Scream Free and Circle of Security Parenting programs. I have also used music as a healing tool for individuals and families.
