Recent Updates From Ethan Isaac
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

My practice focuses on general counseling, psychotherapy and sport psychology. I work collaboratively addressing personal needs through multiple techniques essential to achieving relief, personal growth and overall wellbeing. I work with athletes and sport participants regardless of ability or level of participation, as what they have in common is that sport is important to them, it enhances their life and are committed to being the best they can be. I assist athletes, coaches, and family members in addressing psychological factors that impact participation and performance in sport. Licensed in both California and Oregon.
Some issues encountered by athletes that can benefit from counseling include: Injury recovery, Depression, Motivation, Anxiety, Anger management, Adjustment difficulties (interpersonal, competitive level, student athletes, etc.), Performance enhancement, Career transitions, Substance abuse, Time management, Athletic burnout.
I work with athletes on issues affecting performance and enjoyment of sport/fitness activities. Whether an elite, student, competitive/recreational, or recreational athlete, developing mental and emotional skills to deal with issues of performance, adjustment, transitions, and relationships can maximize potential and improve overall emotional well-being.
