Query: We all have that one friend who is the egoist in the group or who tends to flake out on commitments as if it were an impulse. I would like to explore the psychological explanations for each one. How are these connected to learned traits or core beliefs, perhaps, that shaped them to be this way? - Flakers
- Egoists
- Know-it-alls
- High-maintenance qualities
Please provide a brief psychological explanation for each one. The goal would illicit the reaction of ‘Oh, that makes sense now!’ to the reader. Just a few sentences would suffice.
Requirements: Licensed mental health professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, behavioral scientists, therapists, and others in related fields)
