Please e-mail, to be placed on waitlist. After 15 years working with community-based, non-profit agencies in multiple roles as well as about 20 years working with vulnerable youth, I am happily dedicated to private practice care. My practice is centered around whole-person treatment. Together, we will explore root causes to your symptoms, the narrative of your family system, process old trauma and develop healthy coping skills to manage your symptoms. Trauma, OCD, Generalized Anxiety and Codependency Treatment, are my primary specialties, and I look forward to learning about and helping you identify your unique goals for therapy. I find that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Trauma-Focused CBT as well as Short-term, Solution Focused Therapy, are efficient in the goal-setting process for most clients. I also use Narrative Therapy and Depression Treatment Quality Improvement (DTQI) methods to support reducing Depression. Treatment is not one-size fits all. My approach is to hold empathy, compassion and work from the stance that everyone can grow into the person they want to be. I do my best to be real and infuse humor in my style of therapy. I believe in humility and appropriate self-disclosure, but the focus is always on you! If you would like a free-consult, please e-mail for the fastest response!

Raising healthy and happy children with ADHD can be a big job, but the good news is that you do not have to do it alone. There is a lot that can be done to help! ADHD is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that impacts each child differently. ADHD has little to do with how "smart" your child might be, but it has a lot to do with your child's ability to regulate their attention, mood, and behaviors. When symptoms of ADHD lead to lower self-esteem, mental health concerns, behavioral challenges, or academic struggles, it is a good time to seek professional help. I am an Art Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Professional with a passion for helping children with ADHD reach their fullest potential. I offer child-based services that focus on building self-esteem, teaching skills, and re-igniting a passion for learning. I also offer parent-based services that offer guidance, education, support, and training. Children with ADHD can have an excellent quality of life, but they often need extra support along the way. If you are looking for fun, compassionate, and effective strategies to help your child and your family, please give me a call. Our services can be used as the first line of treatment for ADHD or in partnership with your child's medication.

Becoming a parent is life-changing in many ways. Some we can prepare for, but many we cannot. I have a special interest in working with mothers struggling with anxiety or depression related to pregnancy, adjustment to becoming a parent, traumatic birth experience, infant or child hospitalization, or having difficulty with breast or bottle feeding. I also have a passion for helping youth who have experienced trauma and can help decrease symptoms of depression, anxiety, behavior problems, sexualized behaviors, and trauma-related shame, while improving social competence and trust. I am trained in CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT and Mindfulness. I offer evidence-based therapies for individuals and couples. For individuals, I use CBT to modify negative thought patterns and behaviors, and DBT tools enhance emotional regulation and well-being. For couples, I employ the Gottman Method to strengthen bonds, resolve conflicts, and improve communication, trust, and intimacy. Asking for help can be overwhelming, and I thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. I offer early morning and evening appointments, and am available in person or over Telehealth to accommodate busy schedules. I look forward to working with you and your family.

I am a Neurodivergent therapist. I have ADHD, combined type and PTSD so I understand the gravity of finding the right clinician for your specific needs. You deserve to receive unconditional positive regard. You deserve to be heard. You deserve therapy that meets your specific goals. I heavily subscribe to the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy framework, but pull from several different approaches to meet my clients where they are and support them in the ways they deem important. It is not my place to tell you what you need - I believe you already know and I am simply a guide along your journey. View 4 Photos I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board-Certified Music Therapist, and Registered Play Therapist. I am credentialed and qualified to provide creative therapy services as well as general talk therapy. I work with all ages and presenting concerns. I believe it is important to find the right service and an approach that works for you specifically. One of my most influential therapists said, "the healthiest people are the ones who walk through the door." This stuck with me. It communicated to me that the courage it takes to attend a therapy session already serves to heal. My ultimate goal is to empower you to face life's challenges with grace, esteem, and your most authentic self. Let's make it happen.

As a therapist, I see myself guiding people on their life path by overcoming such obstacles as depression, anxiety, fear, self-limiting beliefs, and helping them to experience instead the beauty and warmth of their inner rainbow, of claiming joy as their birthright. I love working especially with women at a major transition in their lives: whether from young adulthood to womanhood, from motherhood to 'empty nest' and, ultimately, menopause; women in quest for healthy relationships and a greater meaning in their lives. Spiritual growth, creativity, finding one's purpose - are important issues for everybody to be able to live life to its fullest. I weave my work with a variety of therapeutic approaches including Holistic Healing, Dreamwork and Art Therapy. I'll be happy to discuss any needs you might have to see which modality - group or/and individual therapy - would be the best for you. Basically a humanist, I wish people to live happier, spiritually richer lives, with the ability to have healthier relationships. To achieve this we need to understand what prevents us from trusting, what are we afraid of, which ingrained (mostly unloving and self-derogatory, shame-based) beliefs we need to let go of. Having lived in a number of different countries and being immersed in different cultures I offer perhaps a more complex point of view and am able to have a greater understanding of diversity and cross cultural issues. I also have life long interest in wholistic health and spirituality.
