I believe you deserve a space that is nonjudgmental, and open while exploring what it is you need. You may notice a sense of sadness that's hard to describe or understand. Are you constantly thinking about the "what-ifs" that distract from your current life? It's my goal to help you feel in control of your pain and worry rather than it feeling like it's in control of you. If you are experiencing loss or grief, I'm here to sit with you in those sometimes difficult feelings while also exploring what tools you need to help with the day to day. I work with those who have traumatic or distressing experiences they would like to process.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I use these modalities to help with learning skills to cope with present stressors or difficulties in a person's life. When a person feels ready to process past traumatic or distressing experiences I use EMDR and expressive therapies for this.
I know it can be a difficult decision to reach out to a therapist and I am here for you when you are ready. If you notice feeling overwhelmed, out of control, have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, or turning off your mind. I can help you or your loved one by providing a safe space for self-exploration and growth. Call to schedule an appointment
