I would have to say that my ideal client would be the client that only needs to see me about every 6 months for like a check up. The reason I say this is because as a Mental Health provider my goal is to help all my clients achieve a good mental health status. I want them to learn coping skills and strategies to be able to handle the problems that they may face. In doing my job that would be something that we would be able to accomplish together so that they may lead a productive and full-filled life.
I have been through a number of trials in my personal and professional life. I feel that these life experiences gained can help other individuals who may go through those same life experiences. I have worked in the healthcare field for almost 20 years in various fields. I have worked with children, adults, and the elderly in many different settings.
