Recent Updates From Rachel Coblentz

I hear it all the time, “I just can’t stop thinking about…” and typically what follows is not pleasant. Our brains are designed to think and plan to help us survive, but in our society, we are constantly weighed down by a never-ending stream of input. This overwhelms the system, leading you to over-worrying, over-thinking, and under-living. This is made worse by traumatic experiences that hurt your sense of self and view of the world or if you are coping with neurodivergence. You are not able to see or accept yourself fully, causing struggles with anxiety, fears, depression, and low self-esteem.
My framework for helping is based on the idea that as humans, we are all whole, but our perspective of ourselves has become skewed along the way. We can work to find ways to make your day-to-day life more manageable and enjoyable! While also looking backward to find peace and healing from life experiences that fuel negative thoughts and habits.
Starting or restarting therapy with someone new can be nerve-wracking, but I aim to create a relaxed, non-judgemental environment where you can find support and help with problems that prevent you from living a confident and content life. Please reach out to me with questions or to schedule a 15-min consultation to see if I can help.
