Are you looking to increase connection, joy, positive moods, and strengthen healthy relationship with yourself and others? I specialize in a Mindfulness and Somatic/body based modality called Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS allows us to gently and safely reprocess old wounds, work on what is most important right now in your life, and help you return to your core natural state of connection, purpose and authenticity. It is deeper than traditional 'talk therapy', as it gets to the root of trauma and attachment wounding, often based in childhood difficulties that result in patterns of anxiety, depression, grief, and dissociation. I hold a certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, and offer support in integrating psychedelic work, from a HARM reduction approach, to folks already on that healing path. I am also licensed in Oregon to facilitate Psilocybin sessions. While this seperate from my counseling offerings, it can be a beautiful and deep addition to your healing journey. I hold online counseling space for adult individuals and couples. Please email or call for a free phone consultation. With 20 years experience in mental wellness, I meet you exactly where you are, with absolute non-judgmental acceptance and a strong sense of ease, warmth, trust, and respect. I offer sliding scale $120-$190/session and bill OHP/Pacificsource.

I offer shame-free addiction recovery counseling to adults who may also be struggling with trauma, depression, or anxiety. Did you know 75% of individuals struggling with substance misuse have a history of trauma? We now know the risk of developing this disorder is directly linked to a person's exposure to adversities like childhood abuse, toxic stress, trauma, and dysfunctional relationships. In the face of an invisible epidemic, trauma and substance abuse, you need an ally who sees and understands you. Together, we will honor your unique path to recovery, grow your self worth, and create a life worth celebrating not escaping. View 8 Photos I founded Kind Recovery to support recovering people with evidence-based and modern treatment modalities. While I love and support traditional 12-step programs; community support and mental health treatment are different things. I combine trauma therapy skills (EMDR, IFS, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy) with addiction recovery treatments (ACT, MI). You can expect me to employ a directive approach coupled with a great deal of compassion and non-judgment. I trust that within your experience there is an answer that's been trying to make its way into awareness, and I would be honored to help guide you on your path of discovery.

As a therapist, I’m here to help you see and connect fully to who you are, your life, your passions, and the people and communities that matter to you. My goal is to help you experience more happiness, health, fulfillment, connection, and ease. I work with clients to identify and address the immediate challenges that come up in daily life, as well as to examine together your lived experience and how you can make sense of it in the here and now, in order to move forward with confidence. I particularly work with straight and gay men, those in interracial partnerships, and folks navigating depression, anxiety, career or life transitions, or challenges in personal/professional relationships. I have expertise working with white men as they navigate their relationship to race and privilege, as well as with psychedelic integration. I believe that authentic connection is central to both good therapy and general happiness. I'm here to meet you where you are, and I strive to understand my clients from the heart so they don't feel they need to explain themselves. Feel free to reach out so we can start a conversation about what will help you come to a place of healing and feeling whole.

You may find yourself in a state of overwhelm that amps you up or shuts you down. It's quite possible you armor up on the outside while feeling messy on the inside. If only others knew how dreadfully stuck, confused, and exhausted you feel. Part of you wants to let others “in”, yet it is hard to trust. You don't want to appear weak or be a burden. Multiple stressors may be weighing heavy on you. Genuine connection and support feels unreachable. Knowing that we can trust and be surrounded with support are fundamental human needs. Without an internal sense of safety and without stable healthy relationships, we feel off-centered and retract from life. We want to feel contentment, to open up, and to connect. And when stress happens, we want skills to move through it and show up fully as ourselves. As a trauma-specialty counselor, I offer a safe haven for clients to find relief, build connection, and cultivate health. Clients who work with me appreciate my first-hand experience of trauma's impact and of post-traumatic healing. I help clients process the pain so they can begin functioning and living out their best life. Reach out today!

Emotional wounding, loss, trauma, and unhealthy relationships often create a sense of overwhelm, heaviness and prolonged anxiety that can feel never-ending. Over time, it's common to become increasingly detached, stagnant and feel like it's impossible to connect with others in an authentic and meaningful way. Psychotherapy provides the unique opportunity to 'get real' with 'what is', allowing you to grow and heal in ways that will benefit all of your relationships, including (most importantly) the relationship that you have with yourself. My hope is that we can create a collaborative working relationship that provides a safe space for you to explore whatever you want. I regularly work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse disorders, grief/loss, adoption/attachment issues and learning disabilities who want to develop more awareness and healthy coping skills. My style is primarily somatic and relational, but I draw from multiple theoretical counseling psychology frameworks, including evidence based modalities (CBT & DBT) to 'meet you where you're at' in your healing journey. I recognize that it takes courage to reach out for support and I commend you for even considering engaging in the process.

English | español I do my best work with INFJs, empaths, and other highly sensitive Gen-Zers and Millenials who are looking to invite more clarity, calm, joy, and ease into their lives. My clients are often wanting to sort through deep questions and reconnect with their inner wisdom. Our work together helps them look inside and make sense of what feels like a tangled mess of emotions. I take an insight-oriented, relational approach to psychotherapy, exploring trauma and emotions through an IFS lens. During our session we address current suffering and discomfort, but more importantly what might be underneath it. Other tools in my toolkit include ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration work. It might seem scary to look inside because sometimes it feels overwhelming, intimidating, and shameful to face our inner worlds. My hope is that being a support while we navigate those layers will make that journey of introspection and self-discovery a little easier and more gratifying.
