Hello, My name is Cassidy Campanale. I am a therapist located in the state of Michigan. I currently hold a LLP license and I am supervised by a fully licensed psychologist. I work with individuals ages 13 and up and I am currently accepting new clients with immediate availability. I am currently seeing clients via teletherapy only. I can be reached by phone/text: 248-671-4383 or by email: therapywithcassidy@gmail.com (email is the best way to contact me). Here is some more information about me and my approach to treatment: I completed a B.A. degree in psychology at Oakland University in 2020 and an M.A. in clinical psychology at The Michigan School of Psychology in 2022. I completed clinical hours in an integrative healthcare setting working with individuals diagnosed with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, etc. My background is in both humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapy. I strive to provide an environment in which individuals feel comfortable and safe in sharing their personal experiences. I believe humanistic principles such as a person-centered approach, self-discovery, and free will are of the utmost importance in therapy. I also incorporate CBT coping techniques into therapy for clients to use as tools outside of sessions. I believe that discovering and using an individual’s strengths to their advantage is integral to the healing process.

Seeking out therapy is a sign of strength and you deserve a safe place for discovery. Ultimately therapy is a journey of exploration. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you genuinely feel understood, heard, and seen in a compassionate, non-judgmental space. Our work together can explore and navigate through your concerns to reach a more meaningful and fulfilling life while reaching your extraordinary potential. Sometimes the discovery is about friends and loved ones. Ultimately, the journey of discovery leads to the "self" and how we interact with others and ourselves. I want to help you on your search toward goals that you decide. I hope you find happiness based on what we discover together. I see our relationship as a collaboration. I previously taught Personality Theory and Cognitive Psychology at Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles, CA. I consider myself a lifelong learner with a passion for emerging theories and techniques. I also have an extensive background in business development consulting.

Hi, I'm Maggie Reynolds. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and am Nationally Certified and EMDR Certified. I work with adults who are struggling with trauma and life transitions. My goal is to help you stop feeling overwhelmed and in the passenger seat of your own life and empower you to heal and make desired changes. Helping People Gives My Life Meaning Being a Counselor is an honor. I love guiding people towards positive changes and watching their lives flourish. The most rewarding thing about being a Counselor is seeing my clients transform with new insights and skills. I am committed to empowering you to make big changes. I Have Empathy For Others And Bring An Open, Non-judgmental Presence To Sessions I have a natural ability to: Understand people's experiences Help people feel comfortable Uncover what's under the surface Help clients heal their past and manage the present People who know me often say that I am a good listener who can be fully present for people's stories, even if they are difficult stories. Our Sessions Are Focused On You Sessions will provide you with the space to focus on yourself without feeling selfish. In a safe and comfortable environment, you'll be able to explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals and be understood and heard. It's important to me to hold space and be affirming so you can be yourself. I aim to adhere to best practices for ethically and multiculturally-informed Counseling. I welcome clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds, gender and sexual identities and expressions, abilities, neurotypes, and faiths. Despite their differences, my clients share a common desire to work for change in their lives, and in the course of therapy with me, are able to better tap into their inner creativity, resiliency, and hopes. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to Counseling. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns. As A Counselor, I Embrace The Following Philosophies: I believe that you are worthy of love and care I believe that we only heal if we take care of ourselves I believe that survivors are not what happened to them I believe that emotions heal when they are witnessed and validated I believe that loving and accepting ourselves for who we are, scars and all, is one of the most courageous things we can do My Professional Background Having been talked out of studying psychology and English in college by my mother (a "misunderstanding" for which she has since apologized), I studied architecture for 5 years and practiced for 2 years in Rhode Island. While architecture continues to interest and fascinate me, I often imagined and longed for a career in counseling instead. I got my chance when I was laid off in the recession of 2008 and decided to get my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. I will add that my mother was my biggest source of support and encouragement for this transition. I have gone on to practice counseling with homeless veterans in San Diego, with under-served populations in Las Vegas, and with urban professionals in private group practice in Chicago. I hold the credential of Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois.

I see my practice as encompassing three primary areas: grief (in all its forms), EMDR for trauma, and LGBTQ issues. I have experience working with death and non-death loss across the lifespan, with particular interest in traumatic/sudden loss and partner/spousal bereavement. For this, I provide both individual and group therapy. Additionally, I am EMDR trained and apply this modality to a wide range of trauma histories, especially sexual trauma. Most of my practice serves LGBTQ individuals and I provide support on issues related to identity development, relationships, and stigma.
